Q: What is face lift tape and does it actually work?

A: As the name implies, this is a product that is a tape which is used to lift the face. It is not meant to be a long term solution by any means, but rather a temporary solution if you have an important life event (like a wedding or big meeting) and you want to make sure you look good for it.

Pros:
These are very affordable – usually around $20 to $40. They are said to be easy to put on and do produce a noticeable improvement in your appearance while you have them on. It can be a beneficial way to instantly give yourself a refreshed look for the day.

Cons:
Many say that face lift tape is not comfortable to wear. It is also only a temporary solution so you are not actually addressing the problem when you wear this tape.  The other drawback is that I have not seen this sold at stores ever so if you want to get it it seems that the only way to do so is to get it online.

Alternatives:
Nowadays there are so many different procedures on the market which are offered by plastic surgeons that I feel they are at the very least worth considering – you deserve better than just some tape treatment! Because if it were costs that were holding you back before, there are many options involving a mini face lift, feather face lift, etc. which cost only a fraction of the price and are also said to produce great results for many.

If it was the down time that was holding you back before that really isn’t an excuse either. Because nowadays there are such things as the non surgical face lift which require virtually no down time whatsover. That means you can return to work the next day and not have to worry about taking days or weeks off from your busy life. This is why they often call it the weekend facelift.
