Wrinkles Around Mouth

Remember when the skin around our mouth's used to look like this?
As the years go by, we develop wrinkles in all sorts of nooks and crannies, but one of the most annoying are wrinkles around mouth. These wrinkles – although natural – are not exactly what you would call attractive. Many women and men alike choose to treat them to diminish their appearance.
What causes wrinkles around mouth?
There are many causes we can speculate about, but the honest truth is that more likely than not, you probably have these naturally. That’s just what happens to our skin as we get older. However if you were a smoker that might have perpetuated their formation.
What can be done to treat them?
There are a broad array of treatment options currently on the market. Let’s talk about some of them…
Laser Skin Resurfacing: This is a procedure performed by a dermatologist. Specialty skin lasers are used to rejuvenate the skin. There are different lasers for different purposes – some are design to stimulate the production of collagen, while others are designed to help you shed your cells and replenish it with newer, younger looking skin.
Injectable Fillers: This is a procedure performed by cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, and even some general practitioners. What the doctor will do during this procedure is attempt to fill in your deep wrinkles using a substance like Juvederm, Perlane, Restylane, etc. I have had this procedure myself and love it but the big drawback is the price – it may set you back several hundred dollars.
Advanced Wrinkle Creams: I’m not talking about the creams your mom used to use, but rather the new products which have hit the market the past few years that incorporate exciting breakthrough ingredients. In fact, many use powerful ingredients which are known to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin on the wrinkle around your mouth. They also help you shed your old skin cells and replace them with new (by increasing the cell turnover rate). The top wrinkle creams are surprisingly not that expensive either, so it’s definitely the least expensive of the three.
